Public Events

BAOA Members want to promote aviation in the community. To that end, BAOA and its members will periodically host or co-host public events intended to promote aviation safety, awareness of FAA rules and administrative changes affecting the local aviation community, and community involvement. Some examples of such events would include:

Two friends sharing a laugh while enjoying delicious pizza indoors, creating a joyful moment.

Member Events

In addition to the opportunity to fly club aircraft, BAOA Members will be invited to club events intended to promote the social aspect of the club. These events vary from “Hangar Night” or “Poker Runs”

Volunteers distributing aid at an outdoor donation center, promoting social impact and diversity.

Philanthropy

BAOA and its members give back in many ways by hosting and co-hosting fund-raising events to support the Batesville Regional Airport, Survival Flight, Ozarka College, Lyon College, and many other deserving organizations always in need of assistance.

A diverse group of adults at work, enjoying a casual meeting indoors with focus and smiles.

Education

Aviators are always learning! We never stop. BAOA and its members routinely host AOPA and FAA Safety Team (“FAASTeam”) meetings to provide continuing education to its members and non-member aviators in the community.
